Blogs are a true gauge of a person’s commitment. It’s no easy work. You always have to think up new interesting content for your readers. You have to put in the work to make sure that your posts are not only stimulating and fun to read, but that they are also accompanied by great visuals to help better paint the picture, so to speak.
So here I am again, setting up a new blog. It’s actually the first time that I have had some professional help, since I have always relied on free themes and free blog hosting in my past exploits with blogging. It was fun for a while, but as always, life takes over and I had less and less time to commit to it. That, and losing my dear laptop and camera to a theft in my own home was a cherry on top of a very depressing cake (I don’t know where that metaphor came from, but I’m still talking about blogging here).
Before I start prattling about on this site, I would like to give some praise and acknowledgements where they are due. Many many thanks to Ernie of Null Slate Web Design Development Solutions for the insanely quick time it took for the beginnings of this blog to get set up. I have been futzing around with the idea, and Ernie created the groundwork for this site before I could have a moment of hesitation. By the way, he is available to take on more work as he is expanding his portfolio. Hire him!
I promised myself at the beginning of the year to do a lot more traveling and to engage myself more with the world around me. I can sense that 2017 holds a lot of promises and great things to look forward to, so I thought it was high time that I get back on the saddle and get things cranking.
Wish me luck!
